The setting is amazing, in a bay with water views from rooms and waterfront restaurant. Very close to Coron, a 5 minute boat ride, without the noise and crowds of Coron. The boat shuttle is very efficient, on time. Staff did a good job organizing our transport and tours and restaurant staff were lovely. Food was good and prices were okay. Rooms are clean and functional and the AC worked well.

Only a 10 min complimentary boat ride away from busy Coron, Discovery Island offered me a world of peaceful enjoyment: I stayed at a very clean cabin kept in a tasteful simple style, enjoyed a variety of rich meals, including one evening a specially prepared vegetarian dinner for my vegetarian friends who came to visit me, and sat on the large terasse to watch spectacular sunsets. The manager Ms Riza and her entire team were friendly and helpful to accomodate special wishes, like evening pick up in Coron or a morning hot kalamansi drink next to the pool. Definitely the place I will stay, nxt time I come.to Coron.

Solomon and I would like to thank all the wonderful staff at discovery had all your names written down but left paper behind !!! 🙄 we love you and thank you for making our week in coron island so so special we had such fun playing pool chatting with you guys ! Our room was the best view pool and sea ! Your endless help of booking things for us at no charge and your lovely boat that takes to and from town was a dream !!! Room cleaning special too a huge lot of love to you all !! Hope you make that top platform a chilled seating and sunbed area and that will top it all !!! This place is the best cozy and beauty stay in coron. With private 10 minutes ride boat to the town. You have a private island, very silent with a great view to start every day and every journey. The rooms are very big and way better of any other place. There's a crazy wonderful pool, a delicious restaurant for you breakfast lunch and dinners. You can even stay all the day on this nice resort to rest and relax. No noise, no loud music and no bad food. Also the staff is wonderful and welcome you with a nice smile and their lovely help. Thanks so much to miss Arlene, JA, and Lisa! They keep helping me also when I was in El Nido needing help

The boat service to and from the mainland was excellent. It's a lovely quiet resort away from the town which is noisy and definately not a place for a restful stay. The office lady/manager of the property was excellent in helping us with a problem with the courier company when expecting a parcel.

It is a remote paradise, where you can really enjoy your holiday away from the busy city life. You can only reach it with a boat but you can have your "hotel boat taxi" free of charge during the day. Hotel staff is extremely kind, they helped us with everything, including the organisation of island hopping tours, early lifts for diving and very early transportation to reach our ferry to El Nido. Food was tasty, too. Definitely coming back🤩

I love that they can cook meals for you even if you buy the ingredients outside, because the menu is a pricey. It is better if you go to the market and buy seafood from there because it is a lot cheaper and fresher from the market . the staff of the resort are good cooks!!! I think they can almost cook anything! Kudos to that!!! I also love the chill and silent vibe of the resort. They have cute dogs too! Kayak is also available for free. The resort is not located in the town proper. You have to ride a boat for around 10 mins or less, WHICH IS ALSO PROVIDED BY THE RESORT FOR FREE!!! The view of going back and forth is really relaxing!! You just have to inform them ahead so they can pick you up timely. The staff were all smiles and were all helpful. They also have a swimming pool. Would definitely recommend this resort to anyone who looks for a quiet place to stay. It is also good for family vacation.

Discovery Island Resort is situated on a small island just minutes by boat away from the Coron town. It's such a unique opportunity to be close to everything that happens - boat tours to nearby beaches and diving spots, cafes and restaurants and at the same time enjoy serenity of the nature around. In addition to that, the staff at the resort is so nice and helpful, as well as the boatman who take you to the town and back when needed. We also took the opportunity to use kayaks and discover around the island a bit.

The views are amazing! This place exceeded my expectations. You feel a million miles away on a relaxing tropical island when busy Coron town can be reached in a short 5 minute boat ride. There is good free wifi at the pier in Coron town so it’s easy to send the resort a WhatsApp message to ask to be picked up. We were worried we would get bored or not have enough to do being away from the town but the island was perfect! There’s shady trees around the pool and you can borrow the kayaks to explore the mangroves if you want. The staff can also organise tours, diving, etc. The food in the restaurant is delicious and the staff are amazing! They went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. 10/10 would recommend!

Kindness of the staff, the beautiful location and quiteness. Free ferry to the island and free kayaks. It's a very beautiful place away from the busy city (coron port). It's only 10 minutes by boat and they have there own for free (you can give them a call and the boat arives in 15min.). The staff is very friendly. It's the perfect place to have a remote stay in an beautiful environment close by the city of Coron but without noise of vehicles or busy streets. The only thing that can wake you up in the morning is nature (by example: the the songs of the birds that are singing). There is no luxury but you got everything you need: a big clean room with a toilet and shower. You share a balcony with a beautiful view. And the food in the restaurant is very good quality.
